Narichane Poster – Ancient Bulgarian Ritual of Word Magic, Botanical Art Print
Price range: 24,99 € through 34,99 €
Our ancestors knew a secret: words are seeds. Speak a wish into water, bread or someone you love, and it begins to grow. Always close with “May my spoken word be done.” A botanical poster – and a little magic for your home.
Description
Narichane is an ancient Bulgarian ritual of word magic, older than any calendar – it needs no date and no special day. Our wise ancestors believed that a word spoken with a pure heart has power: it can guard an object, bring health and love to a person, or bless the water we drink. On some days, like Vodici, it is done in a particular way. And it always ends the same: "May my spoken word be done."
This poster is one – for your home. Designed by Banny around a vintage botanical engraving of zdravets (Geranium macrorrhizum), a plant whose Bulgarian name comes from the word for health.
The ritual
- Know that your words are magic.
- Speak your blessing into anything or anyone – an object, to guard and protect you; a person, with health, love, or whatever your pure heart wishes them.
- Always end with: "May my spoken word be done."
