Lamya T-Shirt – Three-Headed Dragon from Balkan Folklore, Slavic Mythology Graphic Tee
Price range: 24,99 € through 26,99 €
She guarded the springs and demanded a price for every drop. Lamya is the three-headed dragon of Balkan folklore – fierce, golden and very much alive on this tee.
Description
She guarded the water. She demanded sacrifice. And in the end, people outsmarted her.
In Bulgarian and Balkan folklore, the lamya is a many-headed, dragon-like creature that rules over springs and rivers. Her anger brought hail and drought; her hunger had to be paid. Every old tale ends the same way: the hero wins and the water flows again.
The design shows a three-headed golden lamya holding an apple, framed by wheat, grapes and traditional Bulgarian embroidery patterns - old symbols of harvest, life and protection. Above her, "ЛАМЯ" (Cyrillic for lamya) in hand-lettered blackletter script, where the old meets the new.
Part of PROJECT // CULTURE - ancient Balkan myths brought out of old tales and into everyday wear. Also in the collection: Samodiva, the wild forest spirits.
Wear the myth. Tell the story.
