In Balkan and Slavic folklore, samodivas are wild forest spirits with flowing hair and white robes. They appear in mountain meadows in the hour between darkness and light. Whoever sees them can’t look away. Whoever joins their dance stays forever. Their power lives in their cloak: take it, and the samodiva is yours – but no one ever promised you won’t be hers.<\/p>\n
